RE-PLAY: BIG COLOUR, SMALL FOOTPRINT!
Creativity for a cause. Longchamp's Re-Play styles, first designed in 2021, are made using deadstock fabric from its iconic Le Pliage® line in an effort to raise awareness. Each collection has been a huge success. This isn't a fad or an effort to stay relevant; Longchamp is set on sustainability with a real and lasting commitment.
Launched in 2019, the concept of Longchamp Re-Play is to give the Maison's deadstock fabric a second life. Its materials "library" includes leathers, nylons, silks and more – all used to create a range of products from bags to swimwear. As part of this CSR initiative, Longchamp also supports the finalists of the ANDAM Fashion Awards (of which the Maison has been a partner since 2007), giving them access to its materials library to foster awareness and encourage a greener approach to fashion. The sustainable philosophy of Re-Play emphasises the importance of recycling materials, giving them a useful and environmentally-friendly purpose:
"At Longchamp, this idea has been around for a long time. We develop our products with old materials, so avoiding waste is just common sense."

Director of Transformation at Longchamp

RE-PLAY IN LEATHER: A PATCHWORK OF BRIGHT COLOURS
For Spring/Summer 2025, the Re-Play line presents leather treasures in shades inspired by nature and vegetable patches: Aubergine, Carrot, Nude, Eucalyptus, Verbena and Celadon. Each colour, carefully chosen from the materials featured in past collections, appears in a mixed-leather patchwork. Adorned with vegetable-tanned leather labels, these handbags—available in four colourways and two sizes—strike the perfect balance between elegant originality and the desire to raise awareness. Practical and spacious, these are ready to elevate urban outfits while demonstrating our commitment to environmental sustainability.

RE-PLAY SANGLES: CREATIVITY INTERTWINED
For this "green" season, the Re-Play collection expands with a line of bucket bags that embrace bold, graphic style. Available in five colourways, these bags are crafted from our workshops' dead-stock materials. A captivating criss-cross pattern sees the straps intertwine in a way that's both elegantly feminine and durable. These hand-woven, two-tone bucket bags showcase the creative, expert craftsmanship of the Maison's leather craftspeople, who have no shortage of imagination when it comes to making enduring accessories guaranteed to delight.
THE RE-PLAY SAGA CONTINUES.
With optimism, audacity and innovation as its eternal trademarks, Longchamp holds environmental issues at the heart of its transition strategy: from product design to after-sales services, the Maison is committed to sustainability. In 2021, the teams wanted to give deadstock fabric from the Le Pliage® line a new lease of life. The first Re-Play styles were produced in the workshops and made their way to Longchamp boutiques. Two years later, the materials library was again commandeered by the workshops for another Re-Play collection: a daring, energetic and feminine comeback with mini tote bags in juicy, vibrant colours. This autumn-winter, the fun continues in double time with Cabas Re-Play and Épure Re-Play – plus more styles to come next season.
The magic and energy of colours endure, whilst creative curiosity and transformation break new ground every day!
